Pre-funded prize. No entry fee. Skill decides.

An official match is a skill competition with a pre-funded promotional prize provided by the FomoTap operator. It is not a wager, bet or lottery: there is no entry fee, nothing to stake, and the result depends only on how accurately each player taps.

A prize is advertised only after it has been deposited into the on-chain prize vault for that match; the match page shows FUNDED ✓ with the transaction. If a prize is shown as “pending funding”, it has not been deposited yet and is not guaranteed.

• FomoTap never charges an entry fee and never sells anything you need to enter a match.
• Each match states its entry requirement on its match page before you press ENTER: open entry, a thesis on a named token posted on Fomo, holding a token in your Fomo wallet, or an invite. Requirements are checked automatically or by an admin; a match that requires a Fomo action (such as a thesis) depends on what your Fomo account allows.
• Entries close at the lock time shown on the match page. Matches have a maximum field size; entries that qualify after it is full can't play that match.

• You are at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
• Prize competitions of this kind are legal where you live. Official matches are void where prohibited.
• Your Fomo @ is linked and verified by FomoTap, you are using your own account, and you hold only one FomoTap account.
• Your account is not suspended, and you acknowledged these rules once before your first prize match.
• You declared your own Fomo EVM wallet address for prizes. FomoTap never needs your password, private key or recovery phrase and will never ask for them.

Every player climbs the same tower generated from the match's committed seed. The game server scores every tap against the published timing windows. The winner is the first player whose climber crosses the summit trigger, by the server's match time. If two finish times are identical, the lower total timing error wins. A finish gap of 120ms or less is labelled a photo finish; it changes nothing about who won.

After the first finisher, others have 20 seconds to finish; a match ends at most 4 minutes after GO. If nobody reaches the summit, there is no winner and no prize is paid for that match.

The result is signed by the game server and published with the full replay and seed reveal on the match's fair-play page.

If you disconnect, your climber keeps moving and misses every obstacle it reaches — no inputs are made for you. Falls never drop below your current section checkpoint. If you reconnect within 30 seconds you continue from your climber's position; otherwise you are recorded as DNF. Connection problems on your side are not grounds for a replay.

• Automation, scripted inputs, multiple accounts, impersonating another Fomo user or exploiting bugs are not allowed.
• Suspicious inputs are flagged and reviewed by a person. Very good timing on its own is never treated as cheating.
• If a winner is found ineligible or disqualified, their payout is held and not paid to that account. Held payouts are shown on the results page.

• The prize is paid once per match from the prize vault (idempotency key FOMOTAP_PAYOUT_<matchId>) to the Fomo EVM wallet you declared, as an ordinary on-chain transfer. The results page shows PAID ✓ with the transaction once it confirms.
• Check your wallet address carefully: transfers on-chain can't be reversed. Changing your prize wallet sends your identity back for a quick re-check.
• You are responsible for any taxes on prizes you receive.

A match can be voided — for example if too few players qualify, no player connects at the start, or the game server fails. A void match has no winner and no payout; the seed is still revealed. A funded prize for a void match can only be returned to the vault owner.

FomoTap is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FOMO Labs Inc. or the fomo app. Prizes are provided and paid by FomoTap, never by fomo.
